WoD – Sneezing. And genes.

You know how people all sneeze a different way?  Some people have those dainty little sneezes that barely make a sound, while others have huge sneezes like they’re the big bad wolf.  Some spray; some don’t; some snough (that’s a sort of sneeze and a cough).  Well, as I think about it, my dad has a pretty big sneeze.  Not too often, but it sometimes was one of those big ones.  I can’t describe it of course, but it is pretty distinct; at least to me.

Ok so what.  Well, I sneezed a big one earlier today, and damn if it didn’t sound just like my dad’s! Not like anyone else’s, mind you – just his.  Could it be that the way we sneeze might possibly be… genetic?

I know it sounds weird.  Almost unbelievable, right?  But, why not?  After all, the way my body reacts to foreign particles is all genetically-driven.  So perhaps the way we sneeze (as well as many many other things we probably haven’t considered before) has more to do with our DNA and genes than we might think…

Wednesday:

NU SHOYN!  AHIN ODER AHER!  (noo SHOYN ahHIHN ohdehr ahHEHR)

Make up your mind!  (literally: here or there)

It’s not that hard a choice. Nu shoyn!  Ahin oder aher!
